Visakhapatnam (Vizag) is one of the mainland cities with a real sea as well as air relationship to the Andaman Islands. Adventure Andaman still starts only after you reach Port Blair. We are a local island operator, not a Vizag shipping agent and not a VTZ airline desk.
For a 5–7 day holiday, flying is the route that leaves time on the islands. A passenger ship, when official sailings exist from Visakhapatnam, is a multi-day voyage. Book air or ship yourself unless a quote includes it, then send the arrival so day one matches the clock.

No road or railway to the islands. From Vizag you fly to Port Blair, or — when the administration is running passenger ships on this sector — you can sail. Flying is the practical choice for a normal package length.
Visakhapatnam Airport (VTZ) to Port Blair (IXZ). Some dates may be non-stop; others connect via another Indian city. Check the airline for your date. VTZ is a compact airport compared with the big metros — the planning risk is usually the connection, not the Vizag terminal itself.
Vizag has been a mainland port for government passenger ships to Port Blair. The crossing takes several days, sailings are limited, and cabins need to be confirmed with the official shipping office. We do not sell those tickets as a standard land-package inclusion.
Sail if the voyage is the point and you have spare days on both sides. Do not use a ship as transport for a 4-night Havelock holiday — you will spend the week at sea.
Vizag station is useful for the rest of Andhra and Odisha to reach the city. There is no train to Andaman. Arrive the evening before a VTZ flight; do not mix a same-morning long-distance train with an island connection.
Treat VTZ–IXZ as a date-specific product.
A daytime VTZ arrival can still support a light Port Blair half-day. A late connection cannot support a Havelock ferry.
Ship arrivals need a recovery night. Say so at enquiry so we do not pack Cellular Jail into the same afternoon you walk off the vessel.
