TRV has a thinner board of long domestic sectors than Kochi or Bengaluru. Most Andaman tickets from here are connections. Book air separately unless quoted, and send the full routing so we do not invent a same-day Havelock ferry after a late hub.

No road or rail to the islands. No passenger ship from Trivandrum. Fly, almost always via another Indian city. Some people go to Kochi (COK) or Chennai first if that routing lands better in Port Blair.
TRV to IXZ, typically with a connection. Compare TRV vs COK vs MAA for your dates: a slightly longer road to Kochi can still produce an earlier Port Blair landing. We care about the IXZ clock, not which Kerala airport printed the first boarding pass.
There is no ship from Thiruvananthapuram. A Chennai passenger sailing, when it exists, is a multi-day voyage after you have already travelled up the coast. That is a specialist choice, not a standard holiday from Trivandrum.
Thiruvananthapuram Central can take you to Chennai or Bengaluru. It cannot take you to Andaman. Train-plus-flight is valid; train-only is not.

Southern Kerala tickets fail at hubs more often than at TRV itself. We plan day one against the last arrival. If that is after mid-afternoon, the itinerary stays in Port Blair.
