Getting there
Nagpur sits in the middle of the mainland map and still has no shortcut to the Andaman Islands. You leave from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport (NAG). Adventure Andaman starts in Port Blair: hotels, ferries, cabs, listed activities. We do not have a Nagpur office.
NAG–Port Blair tickets are usually connections. That is expected from central India. Book air separately unless quoted, and send the full routing — people from Raipur, Jabalpur or Amravati often train into Nagpur first, which is a second delay risk before you even fly.
No rail or road to the islands. No passenger ship from Nagpur. Fly from NAG, typically via a larger hub. Nagpur’s value is as a rail-and-air interchange for central India — not as a sea port.
NAG to IXZ, usually with a connection. Compare hub options for the landing hour in Port Blair, not only the NAG fare. A cheap ticket with a tight turn is how central-India trips lose day one.
If you are coming from another Vidarbha or MP town by train, sleep in Nagpur the night before the NAG flight. Do not ticket a same-morning long-distance arrival into Nagpur Junction and a Port Blair connection the same forenoon.
Nagpur is a major junction. It still does not reach Andaman. Train-plus-flight is the combination; train-only is not.
Assume a connection until the ticket says otherwise.
