From Bhubaneswar to Port Blair

Getting there
Bhubaneswar is an eastern mainland start, not an island office. You leave from Biju Patnaik International Airport (BBI). Adventure Andaman takes over in Port Blair: hotels, ferries, cabs, listed sightseeing.
There is no passenger ship from Bhubaneswar itself. If you want a sea crossing, the relevant ports are Kolkata or Visakhapatnam — an extra mainland journey. Most Odisha holiday-makers should fly. BBI–Port Blair air is usually extra; send the landing time so day one is real.
No rail or road to the islands. Fly from BBI, typically with a connection. A ship would mean going first to Kolkata or Visakhapatnam when those sailings exist.
BBI to IXZ. Do not assume a non-stop. Eastern connections via Kolkata or another hub are common — check the airline for your date. BBI is close to the city compared with some metros; the risk is still the hub turn, not the Bhubaneswar road.
Bhubaneswar is not an Andaman passenger-ship port. If the sea journey is the point, you travel to Kolkata or Vizag first, then a multi-day voyage. That is not a shortcut for a 5-night package from Odisha.
Bhubaneswar station can take you to Kolkata or Vizag. It cannot take you to Andaman. Train-plus-flight (or train-plus-ship) is valid; train-only is not.
Plan against the IXZ landing.
Connecting inbounds from Bhubaneswar should not be paired with a same-day Havelock ferry unless you land early enough to clear IXZ and still meet jetty time. When in doubt, we keep Port Blair.
