Getting there
Ahmedabad to Andaman is a two-stage trip: a mainland flight out of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (AMD), then island arrangements that begin in Port Blair. Adventure Andaman is the local operator for that second stage. We do not have an Ahmedabad office.
AMD–Port Blair tickets are usually extra, and many dates connect. If vegetarian meals matter for the family, say so when you enquire — island hotels vary, and it is easier to set up before you land than after. Our note on vegetarian food in Andaman is a practical read for Gujarat travellers.
No rail or road to the islands, and no passenger ship from Gujarat. Fly to Port Blair. Some travellers position via Mumbai if that routing lands at a more useful hour.
Depart AMD and arrive IXZ, often via another Indian city. Do not assume a non-stop for your date. Check the airline, including the connection time — a short hub turn with checked bags is a poor match for a once-daily onward to Port Blair.
AMD–BOM is a frequent mainland hop. If that produces a cleaner BOM–IXZ arrival than a long AMD connection, it can be worth the extra domestic sector. Pickup in Port Blair still follows the last landing, not the Ahmedabad take-off.
Kalupur and the rest of the Western Railway network stop on the mainland. There is no train to Andaman. A train to Mumbai plus a flight is a valid combination if you prefer not to fly AMD that day.

Connecting inbounds from Ahmedabad often land later than a same-day ferry wants. We would rather hear that before we ticket Havelock than after you are standing at Phoenix Bay.
If meals are a constraint, tell us at quote stage so hotel choice is not a surprise on Neil Island.
