For the services contracted, 50% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount should be paid before the commencement of the tour.
We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Apart from the above in some cases like special boat tickets, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year) full payment is required to be sent in advance
Special journeys like Bookings during the festive season X-mas, New Year, Diwali etc., requires advance full payment.
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer, Cash payment by Demand Draft/Cheque.
All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges, if any, for remittance would be strictly borne by the payer.
Final handover of Hotel vouchers/ferry boat tickets, etc. will be done only upon receiving full and final payment.
Hotel Rules, Arrival and Departure Policy:
The tour can start at any time of the day (i.e. in the morning/afternoon/ evening) at the first destination depending on the arrival of the respective flight/cruise. The same will be in the case of departure or the last day of the tour.
'Day' shall mean a part of the day or 24 hours or its part thereof.
Usual hotel check-in time is 10:00 AM and Check-out time is 8:00 AM.
The checkout time are strictly based on the hotel's discretion or subject to availability.
Late check-outs are subject to availability and may require extra payment.
All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
Breakfast is not included on day of arrival, and the hotels will charge extra for the same.
A trip to Havelock, Neil, Jollybouy and Baratang Island starts early in the morning and the hotel will not serve breakfast in the restaurant and will provide packed breakfast, which may include bread, jam and butter. No alternate arrangements will be made for breakfast without extra payment.
A maximum of 3 adults are allowed in one room. Please note that max 01 extra bed or mattress depending on availability is allowed per room.
The hotel does not allow the stay of any other visitors then mentioned in the booking form.
Ferry schedule, rules and policies:
Please note that the ferry timings are subject to change without notice. All ferry transfers are subject to weather conditions, sea conditions, sailing permits and Department of Shipping schedules.
We do not guarantee the sailing of Govt. Ferry / MV Makruzz & in case it does not sail due to bad weather or a technical snag we will not be held liable for the same.
To get transfer services from us, you are kindly requested to send all passengers names and ages to book the tickets from PB-Havelock-PB.
The tourist will carry their luggage along with them on ferry. The management/staff are not responsible for loss of their belongings such as cash, valuable articles, mobiles, etc...during the journey.
Our liability is only to value of the ticket and in case of any loss or extra payment for extra services needs to make Adventure Andaman will not be liable for it.
Please note that the charges mentioned are only for the base category and in case the same is not available, we shall try and block you either on the upper category and the difference for the same can be paid on arrival. Adventure Andaman tours and travels merely assist guest with transfers and in case of non-availability of tickets or cancellations our liability is limited to the value of the ticket. We will certainly assist in arranging alternates and offer the same to the guest, for which payment will be borne by the guest.
We are not responsible for any charges to be paid to the "porter" or any helper arranged by the tourists at any harbour, airports, at immigration points or any other place. It is the sole responsibility of the tourists to pay tip directly to them.
We are not liable for additional facilities including Laundry, telephone, mini bar, alcohol, beverages, food, optional excursions, excess baggage fees, shopping, paid toilet if availed by the tourist, they have to be paid by the tourist only before leaving the hotel, ship/cruise or restaurant, etc. as the case may be.
We are not liable to bear charges for Scuba Diving / Snorkeling/Fishing/Boating, etc. These have extra charges required to be borne by the tourist.
For NRI tourist, processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
Any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Govt. Of India, after the finalization of the tour would be charged as extra.
The car provided is only for pick up and drop or as per itinerary any extra usage will be chargeable extra.
We are not responsible for tourist's baggage. The baggage at the airport, during any air travel, in coaches, at immigration points etc., tourists have to verify and be responsible for the same.
We suggest you to avoid carrying valuable items on tour and invariably carry such items, if any, with you while leaving the hotel. Refrain from keeping any valuables, money or important travel documents, etc. in the suitcase. Instead secure them in safe-deposit lockers. In case of any loss suffered by the tourist the Company is not liable or responsible for the same.
We do not recommend or promote any specific shop or vendor for shopping purpose. We understand that the guests are wise enough to decide themselves what to buy and where to buy. Hence, Adventure Andaman tours and travels do not take any responsibility or liability in case of any cheating or misleading by the shop owner.
We hold the authority to cancel the tour for any person suffering from a contagious disease or forbidden to travel. The tourist will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.
We give priority to customer privacy. We do not share any customer information until required by law or by an order by court or the rules, regulations and enquiry by any government/statutory authority.
Visa and Passport Rules for NRI Guests:
All tourists staying abroad including NRIs or foreigners should abide by all the laws, rules, and regulations of Government of India and/or the country concerned while undertaking the tour.
To travel to India from overseas countries except for the citizen of Nepal & Bhutan, one needs a 06 months valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.
In case your Visa has been received kindly do check and ensure that there is NO SEPARATE STAMP stating 'Entry to Restricted Areas Not Permitted'. If this exists, do contact the Indian embassy to amend the same.
Please also note that there is a pre-printed separate line in the Visa which would state: Not valid for prohibited, restricted and cantonment areas' and this line can be ignored.
Note: This is a Government related requirement and we will not take any liability in case of a guest having to return back from airport due to non-compliance of the government rules and regulations. Our normal cancellation policy will apply.
Right to Reserve/Terminate the booking:
The Company reserves the right to cancel the booking/registration of any of the tourist after acceptance of the payment therefore but prior to commencement of the tour, without assigning any reason. In such event the Company shall refund the payment received from the tourist for the tour but without payment of any interest thereon.
The guest agrees to adhere to the policies, rules and regulations of the Adventure Andaman tours and travels. The guest should conduct himself/herself in a manner threatening to the tour or any of its employees and/or other guest(s), we reserve right to refuse service or expel him/her from the service. In this event, the guest is responsible for all costs and no refund will be issued for any unused portions. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Terminate the booking/registration during the tour if the tourist is not following the decorum of the tour or misbehaves or without assigning any reason whatsoever. In such an event, no refund or compensation will be paid to the tourist, and he will have to bear and pay the expenses for his return travel.
Complaints or Grievances:
If the tourist has any claim, grievance and/or complaint in respect of services provided by any of the independent contractors, the tourist shall immediately notify the same to the independent contractor in writing, and a copy thereof is handed over to the Tour Escort/Leader/Manager/Assistant and/or Company not later than 7 days thereof to enable the Company to take up the matter with the concerned.
In the event of any dispute, the dispute shall be referred to the sole arbitrator to be appointed by Adventure Andaman tours and travels in Andaman and the matter shall be subjected to the jurisdiction of Port Blair Courts only.
